She is drawn in an outfit that would be considered traditional style for a dress in Puerto Rico. Women will most likely wear dresses as such during events like festivals, holidays, or parades. Casual attire would just be "American" style clothing.

Personality: Marisol is a positive as well as patriotic being and loves to to tease and play around. Though, her moods can easily change with a short temper, no matter how much she will try to hide it after being aware of this. She is very loving and nice and, like in most Latino culture, will greet others with a hug and/or kiss on the cheek (ladies and their friends). Marisol is very soft-hearted, motherly, and caring, offering help in many ways as she can and treating people as if they were her own children (and offering to feed them). Also big-mouthed and fearless, she is not afraid to fight back and express her opinions, though sometimes very indecisive when political views dealing with her island are present. Her speak can be considered dramatic during communication because she uses body language such as many lively hand and facial gestures. She has stubbornness that is especially brought out by America/United States. Marisol is often happy and satisfied with how she lives.

Apperance: Marisol's curls and flower represent the "imperfections" and uniqueness. For example, the two curls at the end of her bangs represent the smaller islands Vieques and Culebra, the only two out of many that are inhabited by citizens/residents. The curl atop of her head, for instance, show (design is supposed to have three loops >_> This is me failing) things such as having three of only five bioluminescent bays in the world and racial discrimination over the years, when dealing with mass Puerto Rican migration to the US in the 1950's (and sadly, still today with any race in the United States). Marisol's flowers shows to us the uniqueness of the island, when it comes to people, native things, and situation. As seen, the three main races that people identify themselves as are white, black, and mixed/mestizo/mulatto (multiracial). In Puerto Rico, you find things that originate nowhere else, are extremely popular, and/or have small chance of surviving if moved (the living things). This includes coquis, salsa, bomba y plena, cockfighting (legal 'gentlemen's sport'), Vieques and Culebra beaches being nesting grounds for leatherback sea turtles, etc.

Personalidad: Marisol es una persona positiva así como patriótica y le encanta divertirse y jugar. Pero, sus emociones puede cambiar fácilmente, no importa lo que ella trata de ocultarlo despues de ser conscientes de esta. Ella es muy cariñosa y, como está cultura latina, saludará a las personas con un abrazo y/o un beso en la mejilla (damas y ellas amigas). Marisol es bondondosa, maternal, y cuidada, ofrecer ayuda y tratar a las personas como a sus propios hijos (y ofrecer comida). Tambien grande con su boca y sin miedo, ella no tiene miedo de luchar y expresar sus opiniones, aunque a veces muy indecisa cuando opiniones políticas que se ocupan de la isla están presentes.
